UK Reparations Conference 2025: A Call for Justice and Action
Hosted by the All-Party Parliamentarians Group (APPG) Afrikan Reparations and chaired by MP Bell Ribeiro-Addy. Celebrating our Narratives: Black British Book Festival 2025
As part of Black History Month in the UK, the Black British Book Festival 2025 showcased literary voices, featuring author talks, panel discussions, and workshops that celebrated the wealth of Black British literature and culture. The Repair Campaign participated this year, spreading the news about the Caribbean’s growing movement for reparatory justice and building solidarity within the UK.
Bridging Voices: A Dialogue on Reparative Justice
The National Museums Liverpool in London hosted ‘In Conversation: Reparative Justice’ with legal experts, community activists, and advocates for reparations on October 21st. A crucial intervention into reparative justice, this discussion connected key actors across distinct parts of the movement.
Resist Repair Relaunch - Brixton Village
Visual artist and creative Wayne Campbell with A Celebration of Demonstration and The Repair Campaign hosted an open mic, community event in Brixton Village, London, engaging with the community around what resistance and Repair means in today’s climate.
Unearthing History: Searchable Archive of Stories from Enslaved Africans in Grenada
Launched by Stephen Lewis, the new digital archive “Depths of Paradise”, allows access to the family trees of enslaved Africans in Grenada.

On October 27th, St Vincent and the Grenadines celebrated it’s 46th independence day, obtained in 1979 from British colonisation.
